Well sorry I haven't posted in awhile I've been kinda busy lately with work and trying to maybe start a small business of my own. Well I guess everyone is sick in the county. I know that around here Dillon has the flu Rilee has an ear infection and she and I both have sinus trouble.Terra is the only one who isn't sick and I'm thinking about having Dillon spit in her tea so that she'll know what we're going through lmao.well here are some more pix.

She's here !!!!!! Monday night at 7:38 p.m. she came into my life a 7lb 11oz bundle of joy . I've done some really cool things in my days ,saved lives ,fought fires, meet famous people(the eagles and the stones) but this is the best thing I've ever felt in my life. Real men aren't suspost to cry but I've cried more this week than I ever cried in my life. They of course were tears of joy . So now for the moment you've all been waiting for here she is my little princess.

Ok we were talking the otherday at work about our dream cars. Everybody thinks that i've lost my mind when i told them that i've always wanted a 69 dodger charger Hemi Orange with a 440 in it. Doesn't sound too odd so far? Well kind reader that happens to be the same car driven on a tv show that we all grew up watching. That's right I want a general lee. Sorry I haven't posted in so long .I have been busy here lately Dillon is in tee ball right now so it's been work ,practice ,work , game ,work , game, and so forth had an ultra sound the other day and lil oppie was bouncing around like a rat on acid LOL no doughtabout it it's mine had dillon's 5 th birthday party sat. Everybody had fun . We even had the crossett choo choo out . If we forgot anyone on the list I am sorry. so here are some pix from that day.

Well boys and girls in my last posting I welcomed home alpha co. Terra and I went to Ruston to a party saturday afternoon for them and we had a ball. they had 200.00 worth of crawfish and god only knows how much beer. Being the god fearing red blooded American that I am I did my very best to help them consume as must of it as I could.Poor Terra had to put up with a bunch of drunks but she enjoyed it. After the party we all went to the dog house for more beer and a few rounds of pool. If you are ever in Ruston i would recomend checking out this place . They make the best chicken salad sandwhichs i've ever had drunk.I even had a baptist preacher bless my balls. Now gentle reader I know what you are thinking, what kind of sick shit where they doing? If you read the part about playing pool you know that I was talking about pool balls and I made the next 4 shots by the way. Anyway we had a blast,Saw some people we hadnt seen in awhile,and I got my balls blessed , and got to see poor jimmy mc get shot down by every woman in the house atleast twice. O.k. it's been a day and a half and we've told most of the people about the up coming event. And it's starting to sink in, I'm 32 years old when this child is 10 i'll be 42. 42 shit will I even be able to get around at 42? And let's talk about the state of the world. Wars, drugs, hell we even have judges saying that you can't display the 10 comments in public anymore! What kind of world am I bringing this wonderful little gift into? God how I wish that my mother and grandparents had lived long enough to see this. They always knew what to say and to do.I can almost hear mamaw saying just trust in the lord and he'll show you the way.Well I have no dought s about that but my problem is that I am so thick headed that I might not hear what he's trying to tell me. And then let's touch on little Dillon will he know that daddy still loves him as much as ever? God I hope so.You know what ? These are more than likely the same thoughts that Papaw had when uncle Bruce was on his way. The one thing That I am sure of is that I still have the best wife in the world and the best in-laws that a man could ever ask for ,and I also have some damn good friends so I'm pretty sure that everythings going to be alright.

Ok gang, this is it. After 3 years of trying,we're having a baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The sun is out over the carpenter plantation,all is right in the world. Dillon is very excited.(he typed his name by the way). The ere to the Carpenter family misfortune is finally on it's way. I will keep ya'll posted as time goes on.

O.k. you have 15 to 20 mile an hour winds ,dry dead grass and a pile of leaves. What do you do? It should be easy, You for another day when the wind's not blowing as hard or even better, not at all.the reason I'm going on about this is that in the last few days the county has had at least6 grass and brush fires because of high winds and low brain cells . So use your heads when burning and be safe. The life you save just might be mine.

last night we got paged out to a grass fire way the hell out in the sticks at about 8:00p.m. So we go haling ass to the fire we arrive on scene and put out the fire . All of the sudden the home owner pulls up while we are still patting ourselves on the backs and starts saying "this is unbelievable". Come to find out he had been trying to burn off the brush all weekend and had to go make a service call and somebody drove by and called. LOL.

About 4 years ago the most wonderful woman in the world and a very special little boy walked into my life. At that time i was working for the local ambulance service full-time and was a member of the milo fire dept. I thought my life was about as good as it could get. Then one day my partner (we'll just call her butch lol.) and walked into ACMC to do a transfer back to the nurseing home and there was this new girl working in the ER that i had never seen. Me the guy that tried to make sure that no woman had to go through this life without at least haveing the honer of knowing me. well long stry short a little over a year later we are married (Bless her heart), liveing in west crossett and now i have to leave the milo F.D. Enter W.C.F.D. These guys were cool . we had a big station 2 real fire trucks and a tanker. Man i was in heaven. back then we had 2 very old trucks(both older than me) but today we have a brand new pumper and one that that is about 20 years old. Plus a brush truck. And thinks the good ol' G.W. Bush we just got brand new turn outs (we needed them bad) and brush fire suits. damn i think i need a bigger pick up just to carry all of the shit around lol. i'm going to include some pix with this if i ever figure out how to do it lol. as this is my first time to post i hope to improve with time and make this i little more fun for everybody to read.
